Winter Whites & Festive Plaid
White just screams Christmas and festivity to me. This sweater is no exception. It's so cozy and the fun sequin detail around the collar adds just the right touch of festive flare. This would be perfect with a cute skirt and heels for a holiday party or like I've done here with dark wash jeans and booties. This sweater is last season from LOFT, but it's super easy to find similar pieces right now.
It can be pretty chilly in Kentucky during the winter months. That means I pretty much live in jeans or leggings to keep warm. I've talked about these Lucky Brand jeans before so I won't rehash, but like I said in my last post, this is the time of year to snatch a pair up with all of the great sales!
I love adding a festive scarf to my outfits in the winter time. This vintage green and red plaid is the perfect addition to a holiday outfit. Unfortunately, since I picked this up at a local thrift store, I can't link it. I can however highly recommend checking out the huge annual Fashion Encore sale the Nearly New Shop has each fall. I found a ton of great vintage and new name brand clothing super cheap when I went.
Just about everything in this outfit is last season, including these booties from Target. They have so many adorable shoes that are dupes or popular designer styles. If you're eyeing a higher end pair of shoes, definitely check to see if Target has a similar pair before breaking the bank.
An outfit like this would be great for a casual holiday party. Comfortable, festive, and warm. No need to freeze your tail off in a party dress. Pair this with a fun red lip color and you're all set!
