Swimsuits for Ladies Keeping "Modest is Hottest" Alive

You've heard the old saying "modest is hottest."  I know that in today's society modesty isn't typically what is most appealing.  It's assumed by society that the ladies with more sex appeal are more popular with the guys and the envy of other girls.  Do not get me wrong, there is absolutely nothing wrong with those ladies.  They're beautiful as well, but there is also nothing wrong with the girl who is a bit more covered up.  It is so important to remember that regardless of size, shape, outfit, whatever, we are all beautiful.  We are all made in the image of God.

I don't always wear swimsuits that are this full-coverage, but every now and then it's nice to not have to worry about how my stomach looks when I sit down or if something is jiggling that shouldn't.  I'm a girl, it's second nature to worry about how I look in my swimsuit.  That being said, lately I've been gravitating more toward bathing suits that are fuller coverage.  This suit is the perfect compromise for me.  The peplum style is flattering and the neck tie can be undone to prevent tan lines.  I absolutely love the pattern.  Anyone who knows me knows that if it has polkadots and floral pattern, I'm all about it.  The bottoms were purchased separately a few years ago from Target, but I'm sure they have a similar pair of plain navy bottoms on sale right now.

A lot of swimwear companies who make more modest suits are astronomically expensive.  Many of these companies charge over $100 for one piece of a swimsuit.  I personally just can't bring myself to pay that much for something so small.

During my search for a suit, I came across a company called Lime Ricki.  They have similar suits to the more popular companies like Albion Fit, but much cheaper.  I was able to score this top on sale for $25 at the beginning of the summer when they were switching over to new inventory.  They frequently have sales for various holidays or the change of seasons so it's easy to catch deals like this.  Their regularly priced suits are still reasonable though, each top is around $50 and bottoms are around $30 depending on the style.  If you're going for a completely covered look, their one piece suits are upwards toward $90.  This is obviously on the higher side, but the price is still more reasonable than competitors who charge around $120 for the equivalent.

Right now, every suit on their site is on sale, so it's definitely time to stock up.  They have free shipping on $100 or more and $5 shipping on all other orders.

Most importantly, remember that you really are beautiful regardless of the swimsuit you wear or what other people may think.  It's a shame that we live in a society where girls automatically scrutinize their bodies the minute they put on a swimsuit.  If you are the girl on the beach wearing a tankini or a one piece suit, ROCK IT!   You are gorgeous.  You are beautiful.  Be confident in that.
