Fighting Fall Fever

This weather lately has been absolutely wonderful.  I have such strong fall fever right now, you don’t even understand.  I’ve thrown together a few more fun fall-summer fusion outfits to share with you the next couple of weeks until it is officially acceptable to wear sweaters and boots.

This gray shirt is one of my favorite tops I own.  I love the fit and versatility of it.  It’s looser, which I like, but still flattering.   The ruffle sleeves add a fun detail to an otherwise fairly plain shirt, and we all know how I much I love ruffle detailing.  I can pair this with pretty much any type of bottoms, jeans, skirts, shorts; it looks good with all of them.  It can be a bit more dressed up as I have done with this skirt, or more casual with jeans and sandals.

I scored this skirt on sale at the J.CREW outlet about a month ago and have worn it quite a few times since then.  I tend to lean toward longer skirts so I love the length, plus A-line is really coming back in style.  It looks great with sandals in the summer and I think it will be adorable with boots for fall and winter.

You’ve seen these sandals in a previous post, I literally wear them with just about everything in the summer.  They are the perfect style and super comfortable.

I think every girl needs a necklace similar to this one in her wardrobe.  Whenever I think my outfit needs a little something, I can throw this on and it completes the look.  It’s also great for travel because I can plan to wear it with multiple outfits.

I purchased this Kate Spade cross body bag about a year ago and I have carried it a majority of that time, no joke.  I’m personally a fan of much smaller purses because I don’t like to have a lot of stuff with me, so it’s the perfect size for me.  I can fit my wallet, glasses case, and a few other miscellaneous things in it with no problem.  Most people would probably say this color is not versatile in the least, but I don’t have a problem pairing it with almost every outfit I wear.  It could just be a Kentucky thing, but there’s something about this wildcat blue that never seems to go wrong.  It’s really well made and they still have a similar style to this in different colors.

I hope y’all are enjoying these outfit posts.  Let me know in the comments if there is anything else you want to see.  Here’s hoping the weather stays beautiful and fall comes quickly!
