Cocktails and Festive New Year's Eve Outfits with Jeptha Creed Distillery

It’s always fun to ring in the New Year with friends and family. Recently I had the pleasure of attending my first full blown blogger event in Kentucky. It was fun meeting some of the bloggers I’ve followed for a while and reconnecting with those I’ve worked with before. We gathered for a holiday soiree at Jeptha Creed Distillery in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The distillery was decked out in holiday decor ad everyone dressed up in their most festive ensembles.

Personally, I’m not a sequin dress kinda of gal. They’re fun, but I would rather opt for something a bit more comfortable that I could wear again in the future. Anyone who knows me knows that I purchase 90% of my wardrobe from LOFT. No surprise, I also found this fun navy, velvet polkadot top there as well. I snagged it for a great deal on Cyber Monday, but it’s still on sale with an extra 60% off and all sizes are available! I paired it with a simple pair of black smoking pants. These are from Macy’s, but you can find a pair at most big department stores or somewhere like LOFT, Ann Taylor or Banana Republic.

No New Year’s Eve look is complete without a fun pair of shoes and statement jewelry - especially if you opt for a more low key outfit like this. I picked up these blue velvet sandals at Macy’s for around $15 last winter and was excited to see they matched this top perfectly! I’ve linked a similar pair here. To complete the look I got this necklace at Work the Metal after seeing it on their Instagram - it’s the definition of a statement necklace! It looks super heavy, but the back is covered with felt which the jewels are attached to making it light and easy to wear.

Jeptha Creed creates their spirits using all natural ingredients and their unique ground-to-glass distillation process. They grow or locally sources all of their ingredients and use a special heirloom variety of corn called Bloody Butcher offering a delicious, nutty flavor to their spirits. They have created a number of spirts including Moonshine (Cinnamon, Blackberry, Apple Pie, Louisville Lemonade and Original Flavors), Vodka (Blueberry, Honey, Apple, Coffee, Hot Pepper, and Original Flavors) and Whiskey. Their bourbon will be available in Spring 2019 - an even better reason to be excited for 2019!
